NECROSIS nace en 1985, pero sólo en 1987 el grupo inicia un trabajo profesional cuando los hermanos Andy y Pepe Nacrur, quienes pertenecían a la popular banda "Massacre", inician junto a Andrés Marchant en voces, la labor de difusión del exitoso demo tape "Kingdom of Hate".
Necrosis junto a bandas como Rust, Pentagram, Warpath, Massacre y Dorso, eran las más exitosas del momento y las más conocidas en el extranjero.

"Kingdom of Hate" tuvo gran repercusión en Chile y excelentes críticas en revistas extranjeras como la famosa en aquellos años Morbid Magazine, en donde la banda figura entre los mejores 25 demos del mundo en 1987, ocupando el lugar nº 19. Necrosis realizó varias tocatas en el país y se vendieron 1500 copias del demo tape, hecho inédito para aquel entonces.

A principios de 1988, Andres Marchant viaja a Brasil y lleva consigo algunos ejemplares del demo “Kingdom Of Hate”. En Brasil, país considerado un gran mercado para el movimiento metalero underground mundial, el sello Heavy Metal Maniac Records (hoy Hellion Records) se interesa en grabar un Lp de Necrosis, el que sería grabado en Chile y producido en Brasil.

En marzo de 1988 se firma el contrato para grabar el primer álbum larga duración de una banda thrash chilena en el extranjero. Este fue grabado en julio de 1988 dando como resultado el álbum "The Search" en formato Lp de vinilo. Se distribuyeron 3500 copias del álbum en Brasil y Chile.

Para apoyar el lanzamiento de “The Search”, Heavy Metal Maniac Record y su productor Moisés Dell Monica organizan en febrero de 1989 un gran concierto en Sao Paulo, en un lugar llamado Projeto Leste, con capacidad para 5000 personas. Aquella noche Necrosis fué el protagonista de un show en el que también participaron las bandas locales MX, Korzus y Ratos Da Porao. Pocos días antes del evento declina el grupo estelar de ese show, Kreator. Necrosis fue el encargado de cerrar el show.

Necrosis regresa a Chile en marzo de 1989 con 1000 copias del álbum The Search, que se vendieron rápidamente, continuando los conciertos locales con asistencia promedio de 2000 necrobangers.

La banda permaneció activa algún tiempo más pero los estudios de algunos miembros y trabajo de otros terminarían por separarlos. Andy Nacrur y Rodrigo Westphal abandonan la banda para dedicarse a otros proyectos. En 1990 se realiza un concierto final en la Casa Constitución, en donde se pone una pausa a la carrera de Necrosis.

En 1997 el sello Toxic Records edita el album “The Search” en formato cd, que fue distribuido por Emi Odeon Chile.

Después de algunos años de silencio Necrosis vuelve. En 1999 Andy, quien participó un tiempo en "Massakre", decide resucitar a la banda y sólo uno más de la formación original lo acompaña, Nataniel Infante en guitarra.

Juntos reúnen a nuevos músicos para proyectarse con fuerza en la escena metalera local. Gustavo Robles en la voz, ex integrante de Enigma, Victor Trujillo, ex OrateGod y Cesar Añasco fueron los refuerzos para convocar alrededor de 1000 thrashers en una conocida discoteque de la capital. Así se daría inicio a esta segunda etapa de la banda con una formación algo renovada.

Después de algunos conciertos en provincia Victor decide dejar la banda para integrar Tottem Corpse, grupo Death Metal de la capital. Fue reemplazado entonces por un conocido de aquellos años Rodrigo Onetto (Ex Caos, Execrator, Undercroft). Mota como le decimos, sería el nuevo bajista del grupo.
Junto a esta formación comienza la grabación de los temas nuevos de Necrosis que darían como fruto el álbum "Enslaved To The Machine", que sería puesto a la venta y mostrado en vivo al público en diciembre de 2001.

Después conciertos importantes junto a Massakre, Sadism, Torturer o la reunión de Pentagram, Necrosis se presenta en La Serena en enero de 2002 en donde poco después del concierto, César se retira y deja un puesto difícil de ocupar.
Luego de algunos cambios en la banda, el guitarrista más estable de aquella época fue Daniel Duarte, ex Tornado, Belial.

Por razones de trabajo y grandes posibilidades de seguir su carrera en el extranjero, Mota (Rodrigo Onetto), abandona Necrosis. El anterior bajista Victor Trujillo reemplazará a Mota en los concierto venideros.

Luego Necrosis se presenta en un show junto a los alemanes Kreator y Destruction, en donde más 1500 thrashers repletaron el Teatro Providencia.

Luego la banda tiene una segunda pausa a principios del año 2003.

Después de algunos años de silencio, Necrosis vuelve a reunirse retomando los ensayos en Junio de 2006, y reintegrando a uno de sus miembros más antiguos, Rodrigo Westphal en el bajo.

Después de que la banda abriera un show para TESTAMENT en el 2007 vendrían algunos problemas muy dificiles de llevar y un pequeño silencio vendría.

Andy, lider de la banda decide que Nataniel Infante y Cesar Añasco deberían dejar la banda por tener diferencias musicales radicales y además un constante freno a todos los proyectos ambiciosos de la banda. Un prometedor album en vivo fué objetado por nataniel y cesar, dejando a la banda sin proyectos.

Continuando con el duro trabajo de buscar musicos y seguir liderando la escena Thrash Chilena NECROSIS recluta por segunda vez a Daniel Duarte junto a un desconocido guitarrista, Roberto Villaroel.

Lamentablemente el trabajo no funcionó con ellos y debieron ser reemplazados por Gerardo Salas (ex-septicemia, necrodead y atomic noise machine) y Martin Lorie (Deimos), los cuales dieron el toque de modernidad y agresividad que necesitaba la banda.

La banda acaba de lanzar grabar su tercer album estudio que lleva  por titulo “Reborn” y se espera a que seas el mayor disco de Power thrash metal chileno.

NECROSIS: was born in 1985 but only in 1987 the band started to work as a professional act when the two brothers Andy and Pepe Nacrur who came from the popular band called “Massacre” and Andres Marchant, start promoting their successfully demo tape called “Kingdom of Hate”.

Necrosis next to Rust, Pentagram, Warpath, Massacre y Dorso were the most successful and known bands at that moment.

“Kingdom of Hate” had a enormous influence in Chile and many good reviews on famous foreign magazines of those years like Morbid Magazine, featuring the demo in between of the 25 Best Demos from the whole of the world in 1987 giving to Necrosis the number 19th, thanks to that fact Necrosis could make a big number of shows in Chile selling a number of 1500 copies of this record, something not usual at that time in Chile.

In the beginnings of 1988, Andres Marchant went to Brazil and he took with him some copies of “Kingdom of Hate”. In Brazil, (country well know for being big sales of Metal Music) the label called “Heavy Metal Maniac Records” (today is known by Hellion Records) caught their attention on Necrosis and they offer to make a record, the one would be recorded in Chile and Produced in Brazil later.

In March of 1988 the contract is signed with Heavy Metal Maniac Records to record the fist long play for a Chilean thrash metal band outside of the country. The recordings were made in July of 1988, the result is the known album called “The Search” in LP format. 3500 copies where distributed in between Chile and Brazil.
To power up the released the album “The Search”, Heavy Metal Maniac Record and its producer called Moises Dell Monica, organized in February of 1989 a big show in Sao Paulo in a place called “Projeto Leste”
With capacity for 5000 people. That night Necrosis played a show next to these local bands “MX, Korzus y Ratos Da Porao”. Previously to the show Kreator “headliner” canceled their presentation so Necrosis was the one who took that place.

In March of 1989 Necrosis came back home with 1000 copies left of The Search, the album got sold out quickly and they made a big number of local shows with 2000 people (necrobangers) average per show.

The band maintained active for quite long time but some external activities affected (like studies and work) the band towards their dissolution.
Andy Nacrur and Rodrigo Westphal quit the band to dedicate themselves to different projects. In 1990 they had their last show at Casa Constitucion, Barrio Bellavista, Stgo. Where they put Necrosis career in hold.

In 1997, Toxic records release the album “The Search” in CD format being distributed by Emi Odeon Chile.

After years of silence Necrosis came back to life, in 1999 Andy Nacrur who participated for a while in “Massakre” decide to put Necrosis give to Necrosis another chance supported by only one original member, Nataniel Infante.

Together, they met the new musicians to make Necrosis stronger enough to face the local metal scene. Gustavo Robles as a singer (ex - Enigma), Victor Trujillo as a bassist (ex – Orate God) and a unknown guitar player called Cesar Anasco reunited the efforts to gather over 1000 necrobangers in one discotheque in Santiago. That would be the beginning of their second chapter with a renewed line up.

After some shows out side of town Victor Trujillo left the band to play bass for “Totem Corpse” a death metal band from Santigo-Chile. He was replaced for a known bassist called Rodrigo Onetto (ex - Caos, Execrator, Undercroft).

Necrosis with this line up started the process of recording of their second album called “Enslaved To The Machine”, this album went to the stores in December of 2001 supported with a live show.

After many big shows with some other big names such as Massakre, Sadism, Torturer and Pentagram’s reunion, after Necrosis played a show in La Serena in 2002, Cesar Anasco left the band leaving the a difficult spot to fill as a guitar player.
Necrosis had many changes on that position but one of the most reliable it was Daniel Duarte (ex – Tornado, Belial Execrator).

The possibility of continuing his career outside of Chile gave to Rodrigo Onetto the reason to leave the band. Victor Trujillo filled the spot to help Necrosis to finished their big amount of shows left out unplayed for Rodrigo Onetto.

Then Necrosis played a show next to the world known bands called Kreator and Destruction, playing out in front of over 1500 necrobangers at “Teatro Providencia”, Santiago-Chile.

Then Necrosis make a second stop in the beginin of 2003.

After three years of silence, Necrosis came back to the practicing schedule with a new/old member, Rodrigo Westphal on the bass.

After opened a show for Testament in the beginning of 2007 some difficulties between the members, made the band step back for a while.

Andy leader of the band decided to fired Nataniel Infante and Cesar Anasco for all the radical music differences and the constant fact that they were holding back all the Necrosis activities. Such a live album that they didn’t want to make at that time leaving the band with out projections.

Continuing with the hard working and keep looking for new members to get Necrosis were it belongs on the top on the Chilean metal scene. They take back to Daniel Duarte and a unknown guitar player Roberto Villaroel.

Sadly that combination didn’t worked put in between them and they were replaced by Gerardo Salas (ex – Necrodead – Septicemia, Atomic Noise) y Martin Lorie ex-Deimos), these two guys gave that Modernity and Aggressiveness need for the band for long time.

Now days the band is in the process of recording their third studio album. This new record will the name “Reborn” and we expect it to be their best album ever made for Necrosis and the bigger album for the Power Thrash Metal Scene.
